The Dream

Hey Guys!

So this blog video is a bit different than my last ones.
The goal was to recreate a dream I've had a few times.
I got the atmosphere I wanted (story below), but this one was very difficult for me.
I had to work around some things like:

A.  No one at the association in Lakeside was available to take my calls about getting permission to do this.
B. Learning the hard way that it is absolutely just as cold in there as it is outside and I should have brought some boots, a sweatshirt, maybe a blanket... maybe an electric blanket, etcetera.
C. Dreams are hard to recreate. Haha.

How did I get in here if I didn't have permission you might ask?
(Well, maybe I just want to tell the story...)
After finding that no one was available when I made a few phone calls, I decided to stop in and give it another shot.  The secretary, as sweet as she is, clearly didn't expect me to make a face-to-face effort on asking to use the building.  A little taken aback, she told me that they still weren't back, but I definitely needed permission before doing this.  So I told her I would come back in about an hour, walked back to my car, and wondered how I can get what I want without waiting around for an entire hour.  I called Caleb, told him what was going on, and began driving aimlessly around Lakeside.  Aimlessly morphed into driving and parking outside of the building pretty quickly, but I didn't really expect anything out of it.
All of a sudden, the heavens opened up, and a construction worker pulled up in a van, got out, and walked up to the building and unlocked it.
Still on the phone with Caleb, I told him that someone was in there, and how I wish I could just skip the permission segment of this transaction.
"Just go ask him!"
The moment it became something Caleb thought was a good idea was the moment I decided it wasn't that ridiculous after all.  He is always supportive of me and wouldn't tell me to go do something if he thought it would have a negative result.
I ran up, talked to the man for five minutes about who I am and what I wanted to do, and he simply smiled and told me to go get my stuff.
Later, we got a phone call from the woman I was supposed to ask permission from, and she told us it was "perfectly fine" that I did that.
Lesson learned.
If you don't get what you want by asking and waiting around, park outside until you can coax a friendly gentleman into letting you do what you want to do.
Haha!
That doesn't sound right.
Let's try it again.
Try every avenue.
Don't take "wait around" for an answer.
Go out and get what you want.
Any of those will work.

Hope you guys enjoy it!
PS- I noticed I'm really only getting feedback if I beg for it.  So here's me begging:
I'd love to hear your critiques! Likes AND dislikes.
I have taken all advice very seriously and tried to apply it to every video.
You can write them on my facebook wall or comment on blogger or even on the YouTube link if you have an account.

Oh, and thank you guys so much for reading/watching!

Ok enough talking.  Here goes...

  1. I'm commenting on this one post, for all of your posts. I absolutely LOVE your videos. I know that I am biased, because you're my SMBFF but I don't have any 'negative' critiques. I watch your videos and I get chills. Its apparent that you're so passionate about what you do because your work shows it. I can't wait to see where you're going to go in life with this! Know that I will be there with you every step of the way to support you!! LOVE YOU!

  2. I was never very good at figuring things out...you didn't show the necklace when you woke up in the bedroom. Was it supposed to be the same one as you were wearing in the dream? And does that further mean that your real life has some tangible connection to your dreams? Please explain. ;-)
