Hey guys!
I am so happy to be posting another video. I know it has only been a few days, but to me, it felt like a month! It took me a couple days to get a grasp on what I wanted to portray. I knew that my number one goal was to back up from the dreamy theme, and move on to something real while maintaining my personal creative style. So I went from there.
I asked a friend for some much-needed advice, and without knowing how meaningful her advice was, she hit the nail on the head.
Something very real to me is the relationship I have with my grandmother and the reason we became so close. While tragic, I have grown and learned so much while spending time with her.
That is definitely something I felt strongly enough to make a video for, and I hope I portrayed it well.

ReplyDeleteIntimate and stylistic. It has a warm personal touch. I like the soft and gentle treatment that compliments your subject perfectly. There is a lot going on here but has a simple quality that expresses this relationship you and your grandmother have. You can be proud of this video short.

ReplyDeleteThis was so amazing. I'm still crying as I type this. My tears started falling at the same time yours did in the video. I know we lost them at different times, but this hits close to home for my with my Baumpy (my mom's dad). I miss him dearly, and not only does my heart ache from missing him, but also for you knowing how you felt about your grandfather. I'm glad that you are able to be there to help Grandma Linke I'm sure that means so much to her (Even though I miss you TONS). I can't wait until you get back! Also, I would love to plan another awesome trip to Lakeside. LOVE YOU so much.
