Hey guys!
I hope you don't judge this vid too harshly.
I went out in 9 degree weather just because the sun made it super tempting. I froze within five minutes and kind of regretted the decision altogether. Then I hated the footage because it is, once again, myself with a lake backdrop. As tired as I am of using the same atmosphere and self-portrait, I do need to keep myself busy while taking care of Gramma Linke. I decided to consider the footage good practice for learning how to record some of my own audio. I had a bit of trouble recording and I definitely need more practice with it. If you have any tips, let me know.
The vocal track is meant to be my current point of view. It represents my wishing I could create something beautiful for others to enjoy, but since I don't have any actors or models right now, it is extremely difficult to do that. This results in the realization that I cannot always do this for other people.
Like anyone who enjoys doing something, sometimes you have to do it for yourself.
That is why I chose not to throw the footage away and do something with it.
I refuse to give up.
I have ideas and no matter how difficult it is, I am going to keep going.
Oh, and while I'm at it, if ANYONE wants to be in something, just let me know and we can figure something out!

Thank you Taylor Lee, for the fantastic track.

ReplyDeleteHi, I came across your Vimeo profile and saw that we have a lot in common. Your videos are very colorful and "trippy". I also strive to employ myself in video production. I am about to graduate from Oakland University majoring in New Media. Add me on facebook if you want.
